USING ICT IN DEVELOPING 21ST CENTURY SKILLS / ICT IN THE 21ST CENTURY

    Taking this course "technology for teaching and learning in the elementary grades has a vital role in education system. It was designed for prospective teachers to develop and use digital and non-digital teaching-learning resources using technology tools to make the teaching-learning process more innovative and interactive. Students like me can explore basic knowledge and skills, especially on the 21st century skills. 

    In today's experience in this course, it is interesting and enjoyable, which our class discussion became smooth and engageable. Today, we tackle about the 21st century skills, specifically the K to 12 curriculum framework. Through this topic, I learned that K to 12 curriculum has a big help to the students like me to prepare us as competitive and innovative future teachers. It has aims that provide mastery on the topic and develop lifelong learners.

    The landscape of education is rapidly evolving, demanding teachers who are not only knowledgeable but also adaptable, innovative, and equipped with 21st century skills.  This new found perspective and knowledge directly impact my future teaching experiences and skills in teaching. I plan to apply my learnings in teaching in the future through using modern technology tools and online collaboration platforms that can make the teaching-learning process more engageable and innovative. I must also set my goals in order to achieve to become one of the competitive and innovative future teacher who will empower students to thrive in a rapidly evolving world.
